A letter to President Obama

I posted this in reply of the President's post on Google +

Dear President Obama,

I noticed your post and decided to skip a reply.  After all my mom always said "If you've got nothing nice to say.........."   Realizing that this is the first time I have ever had the opportunity to address a siting American President (possibly directly) I quickly change my mind.

With all due respect Mr President either you lied or I did not understand what you meant by hope and change.  I see very little hope and a whole lot of change for the worst.  Your attempt to make Federal Government an even bigger waist of taxpayer money even bigger is unexceptionable.

Your quest for uncheckable executive power is insulting to myself and the memory of the founding father.  When I voted for you last cycle I thought I was helping a Constitutional Scholar interested promoting freedom and government transparency, but now I see that my voice was waisted on a glorified Constitutional lawyer interested in abusing imagined loopholes in this "deeply flawed document."

Now that I ignore the media spin, educate myself on issues, I find your model for a prosperous and free society lacking.  If you are elected for another 4 year I hope historians will have more to say then "he tried."

I hope that you reread that great foundation of ideas in a new light and change your direction.

Mostly I hope you and your family are safe, happy and you have a lot more time to spend with them at this time next year.

 Kissimmee Florida,
